Rihanna continua a sfornare hit su hit ed il suo nuovo album, Talk That Talk, in uscita il 21 Novembre, non fa eccezione.
JustJared.com ha assistito ad un’esclusiva anteprima delle 14 tracce della versione Deluxe di TTT agli uffici della Island Def Jam, a New York City, mercoledì (9 Novembre 2011).
Il modo migliore per descrivere l’album sarebbe dire che Rated R e Loud hanno avuto un bambino: puro e “sporco” pop.

Rihanna ha lavorato molto sul nuovo album, registrando in hotel e camerini in giro per il mondo. Da come si può vedere dal primo singolo, “We Found Love”, un certo numero di canzoni hanno tonalità dubstep e dance hall flavor.
Il super produttore Dr. Luke ha lavorato su tre canzoni. Lo “HitMaker” Ester Dean, che ha prodotto la mega-hit di RiRi, “What’s My Name?”, ha collaborato/scritto la maggior parte delle tracce. Chiaramente, Rihanna è la musa di Ester.

“You Da One” è una traccia di pop-divertente scritta e prodotta da Ester Dean, Dr. Luke, Rihanna and John Hill. È il secondo singolo e contiene molti suoni tipici dell’isola di Rihanna. La canzone è stata fin da subito una delle mie preferite e sarà sicuramente un smash hit in tutto il mondo. Il ritornello è: “You da the one that I dream about all day/You da one that I think about always/ You da one that makes sure that I behave/ My love is your love, your love is my love/ You are the one so I make sure I behave/ My love is your love/ your love is mine.” Parti della canzone sno state registrate all’Hotel Sofitel Paris Le Fauborg, Stanza 538.

“Where Have You Been?” è un veloce brano pop scritto e prodotto da Ester Dean, Dr. Luke e Calvin Harris, che ha anche lavorato a “We Found Love”. Ha la classica “costruzione” pulita utilizzata da Calvin Harris. È molto ballabile. “Where have you been all my life” è il ritornello ricorrente e ripetitivo, come “We Found Love.” Rihanna ha registrato la canzone al Grand Hotel Oslo, in Norvegia.

“We Found Love” è già stata rilasciata.

“Talk that Talk” è stata scritta e prodotta da Ester Dean, Jay-Z e Diddy. JustJared.com può rivelare in esclusiva che la canzone contiene campionamenti del famoso brano “I Got A Story To Tell”. RiRi introduce cantando: “Talk that talk to me yeah” due volte.
Jay canta la sua parte: “I be trying to chill, b–ches wanna f–k me/ Every little city I go, f–k me/ … Singer slash actress in my bedroom/ …/ Flying out to Pisa/ Just to get some pizza/ Fly down to Jamaica/Just to roll some reefa.”
Poi RiRi attacca: “One and two and three and four, come on let me know if you want some more/ You know what I like right now get it right/ Boy talk that talk to me all night/ Yeah boy I like it yeah boy I like it/ Love it when you talk that talk to me yeah/ Yeah that talk to me yeah/ Love it when you talk that talk to me.”

“Cockiness (Love It)” è la nuova “S&M”. E’ davvero sporca, per quanto riguarda il testo, ma molto divertente, e ha un gran ritmo. La canzone inizia con un schiocco di lingua e ci porta direttamente “nell’atmosfera”. Candice Pillay, D. Loernathy, Bangladesh e Rihanna hanno scritto e prodotto la canzone.
L’introduzione molto provocante inizia con: “Suck my cockiness/ Lick my persuasion/ Eat my words and then/ Swallow all your pride down, down/ Place my wants and needs over your resistance/ And then you’ll come around/ You come around/ You come around.” Continua con: “I love it, I love it, I love it when you eat it” per otto volte. Una parte assomiglia a “Crack That”, di Soulja Boy, quando canta “you”.
Il secondo verso è: “I can be your dominatrix/ Just submit to my every order/ Enter my diamond matrix/ Devour my golden glower/ Make Me your priority/ Place nothing above my pleasure/ She may be the Queen of hearts/ but Ima be the queen of your body parts.”

“Birthday Cake” è un intermezzo musicale scritto e prodotto da The-Dream, Rihanna, Marcos Palacios and Ernest Clark. È stata registrata al Radisson Royal Blue Hotel in Copenhagen, Danimarca. Parte del testo recita: “Come on, put your name on it…. Icing on.. I know you want it. Can’t wait till you blow my cake out.. I gonna make you my b–h… I know you wanna bite this… I wanna f–k you right now.”

“We All Want Love” ha un messaggio piiù profondo e serio delle altre canzoni di RiRi. È stata registrata al Amstel Intercontinental Hotel ad Amsterdam e a Park Hyatt in Amburgo e scritta/prodotta da Ester Dean, Ernest Wilson, Steve Wyreman e Kevin Randolph. L’emozionante canzone comincia con RiRi che canta:“We all” dieci volte. La prima strofa recita:“I can’t pretend that I’m not lonely/ Constantly fooling myself/ I can pretend that it don’t matter but I’ll be/ Sitting here lying to myself/ Some say love ain’t worth the buck but I’ll/ Give every dime I have left/ To have what I’ve only been dreaming about.”
Il ritornello:“We all want someone there to hold/ We just want somebody’s one and only/ We all wanna be warm when it’s cold/ Yeah yeah yeah/ No one wants to be left scared and lonely/ We all, we all, we all, we all/ We all want the same thing. Everybody wants something gotta want something/ Yeah yeah we all want love”.

“Drunk on Love”, che è stata registrata da RiRi nel camerino Fasthallein Francoforte è stata scritta e prodotta da Ester Dean, Stargate, Baria Qureshi, Romy Madley Croft, Oliver Sim e Jamie Smith. JustJared.com può rivelare che la canzone contiene campionamenti del brano “Intro” eseguito dagli XX.
La prima strofa: “I feel like I’m a hopeless romantic/ I can’t help falling in love/ I fiend for love/ I want it I crave it/ I just can’t get enough.” The hook goes, “Take me away/ I wear my heart on my sleeve/ Always let love take the lead/ I may be a little naive yeah/ You know I’m drunk on love/ Drunk on love/ Nothing can sober me up/ It’s all I need”.

“Roc Me Out” è la classica canzone stile Rihanna – divertente e civettuola. È scritta e prodotta da Ester Dean, Stargate, Rob Swire e Gareth McGrillen. Parte del testo recita: “This is for your eyes only/ Move over boy, I’m so ready/ You know how to make me feel/ Roc me out more and more/ Roc me out on the floor… I’ve been a bad girl daddy.”

“Watch’n Learn” è una canzone molto sexy, che spinge anche sulla cattiveria. È stata scritta e prodotta da Priscilla Renea, Hit-Boy, Rihanna e Alja Jackson. Il brano recita: “Oh baby baby just like that/ Slow baby baby just like that/ Oh baby baby turn me out/ Oh baby baby it’s your turn now.”
Altre parti del testo includono: “Ima do it do it do it till you can’t make no more/ Till my lipstick ain’t up on my face no more/ …/ Ima do it do it do it on the bed on the floor on the couch/ Only cause your lips say make it to my mouth/ Just because I can’t kiss back doesn’t mean you can’t kiss that.”

“Farewell” è scritta e prodotta da Ester Dean e Alex da Kid. Grande canzone, anche nella parte finale. Più emozionante, più profonda. È praticamente l’unica ballata, diversa da “Drunk on Love”. Il ritornello fa: “Farewell, somebody’s gonna miss you/ Farewell, somebody’s gonna wish that you were here/ And that somebody’s me.”
La seconda strofa: “I will write to tell you… what’s going on/ But you won’t miss nothing but the same ol’ song/ If you don’t mind catching up, I’ll spend the day/ Telling you stories about a land far away. But I know!”

“Red Lipstick” è la prima traccia bonus contenuta nella versione Deluxe. Contiene campionamenti dei Metallica (chitarra all’inizio del brano) ed è scritta e prodotta da The Dream, Rihanna, James Hetfield, Lars Ulrich, William Kennard e Saul Milton. Contiene anche somiglianze con “Wherever I May Roam,” scritta e prodotta da Hetfield e Ulrich. Ha anche campionamenti da “Saxon” di Chase e Status.

“Do Ya Thang” è una spensierata, divertente canzone scritta/prodotta da The-Dream e Rihanna. La seconda strofa recita: “You the s–t/ Baby you the bomb/ Middle of the Day/ Give Me What I want/ It feels so special/ It feels so good/ And he ain’t going no where even if he could/ I got that ow ow/ You know what I’m talking about out/ Make a nigg scream and shout, shout/ Every time the lights go out/ We out out out.”

“Fool in Love” è scritta e prodotta da Ester Dean, Dr. Luke e Henry Walter. Rihanna canticchia in questo mid-tempo regolare. Parte del testo recita: “Mama, I found a man/ Who loves me and understands/ Papa, he’s quite a man/ He adores me, he’s my biggest man/ I know he’s not perfect in your eyes/But somehow he’s flawless in mine.”
